Included in the NEA's second major funding announcement for FY19 is an Art Works grant of $15,000 to Young Audiences Arts for Learning (Young Audiences) to support the National Professional Learning Series, a year-long professional development program for teaching artists, staff, and executive leaders in the field of arts in education.

Young Audiences Arts for Learning Announces YA Week 2019
The YA Network will celebrate YA Week April 14-27, 2019, to raise awareness and support for arts-in-education. An annual advocacy and awareness initiative first championed by Conductor Leonard Bernstein in 1971, YA Week has grown into a two-week celebration of arts-in-education observed each spring by the YA Network, leaders in the field, and individual supporters.
