Young Audiences Arts for Learning Virginia is proud to announce the appointment of a new Chief Executive Officer, Christine Everly.

Everly joins YAV with 30+ years of business experience as a financial services executive with Bank of America. She completed her MBA and BBA at Temple University. Everly observed first-hand how the arts affected the lives and development of her own children, and this serves as the foundation of her belief in the power of the arts that she will use for her vision moving forward.

“I am very excited about the selection of Mrs. Christine Everly as our new CEO for Young Audiences Arts for Learning Virginia,” Dr. Amelia Ross-Hammond, President, Executive Board of YAV said. “Her excellent financial background and seasoned leadership skills, along with her love for the arts, is just what we need to propel this stellar organization to new heights.”

“It is an honor for my ‘Second Act’ to be chosen to lead an organization that impacts not only the minds, but the hearts of children in and through the arts,” Everly said.
