Big Thought

The mission of Big Thought is to make the imagination a part of every day learning.  The organization based in Dallas, believes the opportunity gap will only be solved by bringing the right opportunities to children who need them most. By connecting like-minded organizations, Big Thought customizes programs to meet the unique needs of each community they serve.  By igniting the imagination and engaging the whole child through accessible educational programs that reinforce core academic curricula, develop 21st century skills and address social and emotional needs, Big Thought is closing the gap—one child at a time.  Big Thought also sponsors special projects, such as Library Live a family literacy program, Creative Solutions, a summer program for at risk teens, and Creative Solutions, a job-skills and college readiness program.
