Think 360 Arts for Learning
The Young Audiences Colorado affiliate, Think 360 Arts for Learning serves students in pre-K through 12th grade in 16 counties across Colorado.
Think 360 Arts implements performances, workshops, and residencies with professional teaching artists for students in elementary, middle, high schools, libraries and youth diversion programs. Their programs cover a multitude of disciplines, including music, theatre, dance, and visual, literary and digital arts while integrating numerous topics such as STEM, literacy, history and bullying. These programs impact over 30,000 students each year, with over half of the schools served being Title I schools.
In addition to providing programs for students, Think 360 Arts also provides professional development opportunities for educators and teaching artists. Their signature professional development program is the Institute for Creative Teaching. During this week-long course, participants learn how to engage students through the arts by putting arts integration theory into practice. Including our other professional development workshops, over 1,500 educators are trained each year through Think 360 Arts’ professional development workshops; these teachers go on to directly impact thousands of students.
Think 360 Arts for Learning continually strives toward their vision of a community that embraces the arts as a fundamental tool to enhance learning and to uphold their values of collaboration, equity and access, diversity, creativity, quality and fun in all they do.
