A Groundbreaking Effort to Expand and Reimagine the School Day

The Ford Foundation and the National Center on Time & Learning have announced a groundbreaking collaborative effort to expand and redesign the school day, so that young people everywhere—especially in disadvantaged communities—can get the education they need to succeed in today’s world. An interesting fact is that the Young Audiences Arts for Learning network is already working in the majority of those 11 school districts and four out of the five participating states.
