YA Pittsburgh-based affiliate Arts Ed Collaborative (AEC) is wrapping up its Teaching Artists as Substitutes Initiative (TASI), which set up teaching artists to work as substitute teachers and bring their artistry and talent into schools.
Now in its 10th year, the ArtWorks Internship program at Arts for Learning/Miami provides paid summer learning opportunities to students in grades 9 through 12. Moving to Miami's Little Havana neighborhood expanded the program's reach and grew Arts for Learning/Miami’s capacity for reaching teens throughout South Florida.
To celebrate Juneteenth, Arts & Learning Conservatory (ALC) presented Gospel Voices of OC, a staged performance spotlighting African American accomplishments and excellence through the lens and the influence of gospel music as a source of historical impact and resiliency.
