YA Western New York Celebrates its 50 Years with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra

Young Audiences Western New York will be celebrating its 50 Years of Service with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, featuring internationally renowned soprano Kathleen Battle. Starting with the pre-reception, which will showcase work by students produced during the arts education “Underground Railroad in Western New York” residencies, Young Audiences will also honor several of its long-time teaching artists: dancer Cindy Hanna, musicians Jerry Raven and Reynold Scott, and poet Sherry Robbins. as well as a former BPO flutist Laurence Trott, as one of the founders of the Western New York affiliate of the national YA.
