Young Audiences of Rochester CEO Nominated as Finalist in 2015 ATHENA Awards!

Lydia Boddie-Rice, the CEO of Young Audiences of Rochester has been nominated as one of 10 finalists to win the prestigious ATHENA Award for 2015. The ATHENA Award is an international program, founded in 1982 by ATHENA International Founder Martha Mertz to honor the achievements of exceptional women leaders and to inspire others to acheive excellence in their professional and business lives.

The ATHENA Award was introduced to Rochester, NY in 1987 by Women's Council, an affiliate of the Rochester Business Alliance and recognizes women in Rochester who demonstrate excellence, creativity, and initiative in their business or profession, provide valuable service by contributing time and energy to improve the quality of life for others in the community and actively assist women in realizing their full leadership potential.

The Women's Council will present the 29th annual ATHENA Award at a luncheon on January 22nd, 2015 at the Joseph A. Floreano Rochester Riverside Convention Center.
