The 2015 Young Audiences Gala After Party with a Special Appearance by Actor Joel Marsh Garland

Featuring a Live Raffle with Great Prizes Donated by Young Audiences’ Official Airline Partner, Southwest Airlines®

 

New York, NY – October 21, 2015 - Immediately after the Young Audiences Arts for Learning (YA) Gala honoring Gary W. Parr, the festivities will continue with the popular annual Gala After Party. This festive event will feature a special appearance by actor Joel Marsh Garland and will take place on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at the Waldorf Astoria from 9:30 p.m. to midnight. The YA Gala After Party is co-chaired by Sophie Elgort, Ashley Karpf, Rebecca Fribourg, Anne Volk, and Kimberly and Drew Skelton.

The YA After Party will feature live music from renowned cover band Off the Hook, one of the most entertaining and versatile musical groups performing in New York City. Off the Hook captivates live audiences with their high energy performances including all-time favorites to current Top 40 hits.

There will also be a delicious Signature Cocktail menu crafted with the bold and unique flavors of Jones Soda. Made with pure cane sugar and featuring the most unique packaging in the beverage industry, Jones Soda is a one of a kind premium soda known for its unique colors and ever changing labels created by their consumers. Jones’ tasty and unique flavor lineup will be expertly crafted into cocktails by the Waldorf Astoria’s mixologists.

The After Party includes an exciting live raffle hosted by Raffle-teer, Joel Marsh Garland, one of the most in-demand working actors in New York. Garland is best known for his roles in Birdman: Or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance), Orange Is the New Black and Of Mice and Men on Broadway with James Franco. He will reunite with Franco in John Steinbeck’s In Dubious Battle, due for release in 2016. Prizes are donated by Southwest Airlines, the Official Airline Partner of Young Audiences Arts for Learning. The first 100 ticket buyers will be automatically entered in The After Party Raffle.

Tickets to the YA Gala After Party are $100 and can be purchased here. All proceeds raised by the YA Gala and the YA After Party will support Young Audience Arts for Learning and its mission to inspire young people and expand their learning through the arts.
